Primary 3 have been busy in numeracy/maths. We have been counting in 3’s, revising our number bonds and creating bar charts

We continue to practise reading and spelling our tricky words each week through active spelling

Our topic this term (Aug 22) is Ancient Egypt, we have been looking at timelines, creating papyrus, writing our names using hieroglyphics and mummifying tomatoes. We took part in a STEM challenge to create the biggest and most stable pyramid using just spaghetti and marshmallows. One of the highlights of this topic was our fantastic trip to the museum.

Every week we have outdoor learning with Mrs Mack this is a highlight of our week. We get to explore our community and learn more about nature and the environment close to our school.
