Our topic in P2 at the moment is “Our Community”, so we’ve been learning all about Craigmillar. We’ve visited local places of interest such as the White House, Craigmillar Castle, Jubilee Park and the Library. We decided to clean up our local area by doing a litter pick. We loved learning all about the castle, we were particularly thankful to the wonderful P7s who taught us lots of interesting facts. We’ve learnt about local artist Andrew Crummy and tried to produce some of our own artwork inspired by what we saw. Keep your eyes peeled for more photos 👀
Maybe you could ask us some questions about Craigmillar at home to see if we can show off our knowledge 🤔
Christmas at Castleview is such a special time. We enjoyed a lovely period of festivities in P2 and took lots of photos to document them. We also worked our socks off to produce a wonderful Nativity performance that we were really proud of, we hope you enjoyed it too!
