As P3/4 and P4 had ukulele yesterday and could not participate in the school’s Spring Activity Afternoon, we decided to have our own between the two classes! It was great fun 🙂
P1 have settled well into their classroom and routines in the Castlebrae building. They have enjoyed learning and playing together, both indoors and out. Here are a selection of photos showing some of the highlights from the last two weeks. These include searching for signs of spring and making spring art, as well as our study of the ‘Hays Chair’ as part of the Craigmillar Heritage Trail.
P1a had a lovely afternoon in our school grounds. First we sowed our carrot seeds in our class planter, then we looked for signs of spring in the Eco Garden. We had to look really closely but we managed to spot signs of new life including spring flowers and buds on the trees.
