Last night we ventured out in the frightening, creepy darkness to complete the night walk! We came back and all slept well after a busy first day.
What an exciting day we have had! Some have enjoyed biking through muddy puddles, trekking through enchanted forests, and some have even faced their fears by abseiling, climbing and balancing on the high ropes course. We celebrated Zuza’s 12th birthday with a delicious cake and enjoyed yummy chicken curry for tea. Excellent team work has featured today and lots of pupils working positively even though it has been raining lots!
We are now about to complete a fun and frantic quiz for our evening activity.
After a settled journey with a smooth crossing on the ferry we arrived safely in Benmore just after lunch time. As soon as we arrived we met our instructors and began familiarising ourselves with the house. Beds were made and bags unpacked before getting kitted out with wellies or boots and waterproofs. Ready for the wet weather we got out into the Botanical Gardens to explore the immediate area. Great fun was had by all running around and exploring. After tea and cake, some free time and then some dinner we are writing our diaries
The countdown is nearly over!
Watch Primary 2’s performance of ‘Canny Shuv Yer Granny Off a Bus’ – we learnt this for our Scots week assembly.
