Kezia Dugdale MSP visited Castleview to find out about our natural play project. She was genuinely impressed with the way pupils spoke about their play and learning outdoors and hopes to see more of this across Scotland. Well done!
It is very important that our children learn about their rights and have opportunities to reflect on how these are respected. Our Steering Group looked at the rights on our school charter and made a mind map to show the things at Castleview that contribute to these articles being made reality. This poster is displayed in our lower corridor and we hope to add to it – ideas are welcomed!
Here are some members of the group standing proud with their poster!

Our Rights Respecting School Steering Group have been re-vamping our dining hall charter. They worked wonderfully together to discuss the relevant rights, as well as what advice they could give to help adults and children respect these rights! Good work!

P5 had a fantastic time exploring Dynamic Earth. We had an amazing workshop finding out about the wonders of the rainforest and discovered what it would be like in the rainforest during our trip through the galleries. A brilliant way to kick start our new topic!
