Primary 2 had so much fun at Dynamic Earth! We travelled back in time using a time machine and there was so much to see and do. Here are some photos of some of the things we got up to.
P4 have been learning about the Jewish Festival of Sukkot. They worked in cooperative groups to create Sukkots which are huts which Jewish people build to help them remember the Jews escape from Egypt.
The tour guides had a specially invited audience this week with Councillors Fullerton and Bridgeman joining us along with teachers from Castlebrae High School.
The latest Early Intervention session was carried out this week and focused upon Community life and meeting members of the community and exploring the role they play through questions and Activities. The session was carried out in the local community Centre.
This is a joint initiative between Jack Kane Community Centre (a voluntary organization) Castleview primary School and CEC Community Learning and Development (Jack Kane Community Centre)
The project aims is to raise awareness to community life and will be working alongside your child (the Agents!) and their classmates, being delivered in partnership with your child’s class teacher.
