Primary 3 enjoyed making models of the River Nile this afternoon. We worked well as teams to create a river that would hold water!
We had a fun Science lesson in P2B today. We tried to make magic fireworks with milk, food colouring and fairy liquid.
We filled some trays with milk and popped food colouring in it. Then we dipped cotton buds into fairy liquid and then kept them still in the milk. When our experiment worked, the fairy liquid reacted to the fat in the milk and sent the food colouring shooting across the tray like fireworks. However, the nature of science is that it does not work flawlessly every time so some of our experiments weren’t as effective as others.
Great teamwork from everyone! 🙂
P3B enjoying a STEM challenge today! We have worked in cooperative leaning groups to design and build a house that would survive a flood! We all had different roles to play in our group. We will be testing our house very soon!
Our Upper School Nurture group had a successful morning at Pizza Express, Fort Kinnaird. We were learning about good food, tasting fresh ingredients, and even got to make authentic, Italian pizza! It was a tasty trip for all!
