Our Upper School Nurture group had a successful morning at Pizza Express, Fort Kinnaird. We were learning about good food, tasting fresh ingredients, and even got to make authentic, Italian pizza! It was a tasty trip for all!
Some eggs might hatch tomorrow!
We will keep you updated!
Our new topic in P3/4 is Energy and we have been learning about all the different types of energy – light, heat, sound, electrical and chemical!
Mr Lindsay and Cathy from Castlebrae came down to work with us this afternoon.
We learned all about solar cells and light energy! It was so much fun, we love being scientists!
We discovered that the further away from the light we moved the solar cell, the less voltage there was!
Castleview’s Rowan tree was planted in Craigmillar Castle Park today – 29 March 2017.
Three lovely young ladies from our P4 helped to plant it. They also gave it the first watering.
When you’re in the park, please check how our tree is getting on. All the other ones were only planted 20 years ago and look how big they are!
