P3 have been learning all about our beautiful home town of Edinburgh. We have learned about the key attractions in Edinburgh, the geography, the history and the people! We have been reading about Edinburgh’s most famous cat ‘Maisie’.
We’ve continued our learning about good citizenship with a visit from the SPCA. We learned about animals needing help and how the SPCA rescue the animals. Importantly, if we see an animal needing help we need to tell an adult and then they’ll help us contact the SPCA.
Today is our UNICEF’s Day Of Change. We’ve dressed up as people in our community who help the community.
Primary 2 had such an amazing time at the Police Station – we had a tour of the Station, tried on Police uniforms and even had a go in the Police Van!
We found Scooby Doo locked in the cells – we had worked out he was guilty after our task this morning. We also locked Miss Florence in the Police van!!!
Thank you to the staff at Craigmillar Police Station for having us!
